Many a calm river begins as a turbulent waterfall, yet none hurtles and foams all the way to the sea. ~ Mikhail Lermontov
Changing one’s perspective can be a sure way of looking at some familiar objects or situations in a new way. At a recent walk on a riverfront, I came about an old out of service water taxi.
At first glance it doesn’t look like much until I changed my vantage point. I found a wooden piling, climbed on top and looked from the top down instead from the ground up. That’s when the old water taxi came alive with vivid colors and patterns and showed some of its old glory.
